What Would You Do?

Palliser Furniture Ltd. is currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to fill the role of Foam/Fibre Material Handlers. This is a 6-month term position with the potential for extension or transition into a permanent role, depending on performance and organizational needs. Foam/Fibre Material Handlers serving cutting and gluing Foamshop Teams.

The duties and responsibilities of this position would include:

• Uploading foam/fibre from CNC machines, tagging every piece with a specific label.
• Able to support the team with any related daily activities with minimum supervision.
• Placing materials to designated location in preparation for gluing process.
• If there are quality issues regarding the materials, speak to Supervisors immediately.
• Push / Pull loaded material carts from internal supply areas.
• Work cooperatively with team members and other teams.
• Keep the area clean and organized.
• Willingness to support other teams if necessary.
• Willingness to cross-train in other tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
• Ability lift carry and and maneuver: 50 lbs (22.7 kg) from the floor to waist, 25 lbs (11.3 kg) from waist to shoulder, and above shoulder.
